Iran

Soup

The bazaar of Tehran is described as the commercial centre of Iran. We decided to have a look and were amazed of the thousand and more shops that sell virtually everything. It is here were the commodity prices are set for the rest of the country. Its a great place to wander around for hours and get yourself lost, as we did!

We are still staying in the hostel Mashad on Amir Kabir street waiting for our visa’s to arrive. Freecamping is as far as we know out of the question so we stay in a cheap but very friendly hostel ran by Hamid. Unfortunately we cannot cook and already we cannot stand the kebabs anymore. So we headed for a restaurant down the street and found a great lentil soup. Well, it looks horrible but it tastes great and is a great change of the local kebabis.
