Route decisions

When planning an expedition like this, you can’t decide beforehand which you route you will take exactly. This is because a lot of external factors influence your plans while being on the road. We had planned to stay about three weeks in Italy but have decided to spend more time in the far east. This, because of the appeal of the unknown and the lower costs. Driving in a camper in Europe is vacation. Driving through the Middle East in a camper is adventure. So we left Verona and headed towards Bologna, only to spend one night there. After bologna we will follow the coast south to Brindisi where we will take a ferry to Greece, an adventure itself!
