Bugfeast and back in time!

It must have been two in the morning when the first wave of attacks started. The two innocent victims were sound asleep when the order was given to strike several targets at once. Like Japanese Kamikaze fighters they appeared out of nowhere and attacked without remorse…..

Zzzzzzhhhhh…… zhhhhhhhhh

Elles: Oh my god.. mosquitoes…….No way, they are attacking may face

Michel: Oh bummer, they have bitten me on my feet.

The counterstrike lasted half an hour using Deet Mosquitocream, a towel and a toilet roll to get rid of the dead mossies. But, the damage was severe. Several mosquitoes had gotten to us but worst of all; they had ruined our good night rest!

We decided to leave the bugfeast in the morning and decided to head to Verona. A long trip but as we had noticed already…. Italy ain’t cheap. 15 to 20 euro’s for a campsite, high petrol prices made us decide to spend more time in the east then in Italy. But when we got to Verona we fell in love. Right in the center of the city, away from all the noice, lays a fortress with gorgeous views of the city. Believe it or not, but there is a campsite within the fortress! It has camping places in the medieval gardens and even better on the fortress wall. We had never seen such a place and we had the feeling we had gone back in time. Beautiful flowers everywhere and birds singing, it could not be better! We guess we are going to make this our base from where we are going explore the area!
